Another MC Lars post, but this one on a more serious topic.
Lars next single "Twenty-Three" is dedicated to a college friend who committed suicide. Lars is planning to release the video for the single in conjunction with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
We're scheduled to interview Lars next week, and will post as soon as its done.
Here is the statement for his latest podcast, a behind-the-scenes look at his upcoming EP release and more.
“This month I talk about my college friend Patrick Wood and his battle with depression that eventually led to his suicide at the young age of 23. Listen to your friends if they talk about feeling suicidal and let them know that there is help.
The music video for "Twenty-Three" will debut June 8th on the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's website and then on YouTube June 15th. The "Twenty-Three the EP" will be on iTunes June 22nd and contains the unedited audio version of this podcast as well as an unreleased song.”
